Creating playlists to express how we feel- in general or around a specific thing- can be extremely therapeutic and a great mindfulness practice in sitting with your feelings. When we do this exercise with kids, it can also be a great insight into how they are feeling, and a way to start difficult conversations. Below is an outline to help create a playlist, though you can certainly adapt it to your specific needs.
